Glasgow Velodrome Parking
Like all large sporting arenas, transport to and from the venue is often the biggest headache. Glasgow Velodrome Parking offers 415 car parking spaces with 26 disabled bays and overflow space across at Celtic Park.
Although the Velodrome is very easily accessible by car from the M8, the simplest means of getting to the arena is by using public transport.
There are 2 rail stations nearby. The closest is Dalmarnock. but this is currently being refurbished and is not due to open until 24 November 2012. However, Bridgeton Rail Station is also nearby and the The glasgow velodrome is only a 5 – 10 min walk away. Both stations are serviced by the low level lines at Glasgow Central Station.
From Ingram Street in the City centre you can take the 43 or 64 to London Road and will take around 10 mins.
